An extremely full Talbot Green hall saw some 110 Club members watch the battle that
took place between the 15 Clubs that entered The three Judges: -
1. Tony Byram LRPS, DPAGB, AWPF
2. Barry Mead FRPS, EFIAP, MPAGB
3. Peter R Gennard MFIAP, EFIAP/p
Carried out their duties in a professional and consistent manner they responded to the
images shown in a way which was appreciated by the audience and the Clubs taking part
and the Clubs could adjust their second and third round entry to take advantage of the
marking that the Judges were applying – it was in itself a great education for those
present as to the quality of images that are needed when International style 2 – 5 marking
is used.
8 Clubs competed in the Final with the other 7 Clubs competing in the Plate competition,
The FINAL Results based on 15 images for each Club was: -
Gwynfa won with 107 points
Tenby 2nd with 102 points
The Vale 3rd with 95 points

Only five Welsh Clubs entered the Large Club Section, these being Gwynfa, Swansea, The Vale, Llanelli and ourselves. Out of the five we came third with 168 points being beat by Gwynfa and Swansea with 179 and 173 points respectively. Overall we ended up in 40th place - bit of a disappointment to say the least.
The winners were of course Wigan 10 with 232 points easily beating the second place DAPA Group who scored 217 closely followed by Smethwick with 215. Below are the scores for the Tenby entries the actual score displayed after the Title of each one.

BRIAN JENNINGS MEMORIAL TROPHY 2010 |
| 2/2/10 |
5 prints Judge: Philipa Wood AWPF, CPAGB |
Here is a photo of Roy being presented with the Brian Jennings Memorial Trophy at Trostre this evening (18th Jan 2010). Yes we won, and that makes it three times in the last four years! We ended up with 90 points, ahead of Trostre with 86 and Swansea with 85 in an 8 way battle. The only down side of the evening was that the judge, Philipa Wood no less, forgot to turn up. Apparently following a phone call there were perfuse apologies but of course there were no prints to display. There was plenty of food and chat and Trostre handled the situation very well. Trostre announced they are going to try and get digital images of all the entries and put them on their website with the scores they achieved.
